Education and Training Programs

NoNo the Little Seal

An interactive storybook program developmentally appropriate for 2-3 year old children. The NoNo program encourages children to be safe, say "No", and tell in instances when an adult or another child makes them feel uncomfortable or scared. This is emphasized through the story of NoNo and the accompanying songs.

P.S. Happy Bear

An interactive sexual abuse awareness program developmentally appropriate for Pre-K through 3rd grade children. The Happy Bear program teaches children the difference between “welcome” and “unwelcome” touches. The program also encourages a child’s autonomy with his or her own body emphasizing the fact that it is their body and they get to choose who touches them and how. They are also encouraged to always tell a trusted adult if anyone does touch them in an “unwelcome”.

Kids on the Block

An interactive physical and sexual abuse awareness program suitable for 4th and 5th grade children. Kids on the Block is a puppet show featuring three diverse characters: Joanne, Stephen, and Nam. Kids on the Block teaches children about physical and sexual abuse, how to tell and who they should tell if abuse occurs, and encourages children to make self-protecting decisions. This program also promotes discussion between the teachers and children after the program and between the children and the puppets during the program.
